Don Doonan & Accessible Accessories

After 32 years within dealership Fixed Operations, Don retired and started Accessible Accessories in 2003; a computer software tool that dealerships can use to merchandise accessories.

Accessible Accessories Ltd. is an Application Service Provider (ASP) for the Automotive Dealership market. We have designed and created an interactive web-based program to provide Dealership customers and employees with the ability to look up “Dealer Specific” accessories and prices for any vehicle. This information can be accessed from any internet capable computer, without having to call Parts or Service departments for pricing.

Some of the features we offer in the software include accessory pictures, internal pricing, multiple user access rights, track and print quotes, mark quotes as sold, record and save customer and vehicle information on quotes, custom addendums, package creation with expiry date, user activity logs, part/labour/display overrides, installation pricing can incorporate up to 3 labour rates and shop supply charges, link your accessory website to your Dealership website, and the ability to add dealer specific custom accessories like paint and rust protection, under-coatings, extended warranties, etc. All of this available with online video tutorials guiding you step by step on how to use all of the features.

In April 2007, we signed a Licensing Agreement with General Motors of Canada. In March 2008 we rewrote the entire program taking us to the next level of interactive software. We listened to our clients and designed V2 around their suggestions, the new features increased flexibility and individuality for each client. In May 2008 we launched our French version of Accessible Accessories complete with toll free French support. In January 2009 we successfully launched our third Manufacturer - Chrysler of Canada! We are not stopping there… stay tuned.
